What is Music Video School?

PVAA Music Video School is back in a brand new way! Youth will get a behind-the-scenes experience of making a music video. Each week students can participate in vocal, acting, dance, film, and songwriting electives that will lead up to a culminating music video project and spotlight performances at our Performing Arts Museum on June 29th!

ELECTIVES

All electives will run from 9 AM - 1 PM at Longleaf Middle School!

Sessions for ages 8-12 will be held on the following Tuesdays: June 6th, 13th, & 20th!

Sessions for ages 13-17 will be held on the following Thursdays: June 8th, 15th, & 22nd!

BTS: MEDIA & FILM PRODUCTION (Week one)

Take a look behind the scenes into what goes into making a film production. Learn about camera equipment, types of media, and much more! Gain the tools you need to shoot films and videos. This elective will be showcased in our Performing Arts Museum at the end of the MVS: Behind the Scenes series on June 29th!

Step into the studio! The Lyricist Lounge will help aspiring rap and spoken word artists understand how to develop their words into performance-ready pieces. In the Songwriting Studio, vocalists will learn all about developing lyrics for songs! This elective will be showcased in our Performing Arts Museum at the end of the MVS: Behind the Scenes series on June 29th!

CenterStage:Vocal Performance, acting up, & African Dance (week three)

Vocalists, Actors, and Dancers will train and learn techniques that are used for centerstage performances. Get ready to take your skills to the next level! This elective will be showcased in our Performing Arts Museum at the end of the MVS: Behind the Scenes series on June 29th!
